Once the video is shot the most time consuming part of the project begins. It's in post production that the footage is cut to eliminate the bad takes, assembled to match the script and finished using our expertise and the best set of tools for the job.

Our Senior Editor is Rich Roddman, a seasoned pro who worked in New York for 13 years before joining our team. He oversees three editing suites equipped with the latest version of Final Cut Studio 2, running on blazing fast eight processor Mac Pro computers with terabytes of storage. We encode using Kona, Blackmagic Design, and AJA interfaces. That means to you is the highest in HD quality and creative control.

We edit in all the formats including DV, SD, HDV, AVCHD, XDCAM HD, DVCPRO HD, and fully uncompressed HD or ProRes 422, a post-production format from Apple that offers uncompressed HD quality at SD file sizes. We now also offer full post production in the new Ultra HD 4k RED-CODE.

You've probably heard the phrase "we'll fix it in post". Yes, sometimes it's just delaying dealing with a problem shot, but the truth is, the superior images expected in today's marketplace requires the talent of a colorist and compositor.

Color correction balances the color between shots and scenes, corrects problems, or increases the color content. Color grading lets us create a unique signature look, or even change the mood of scenes.

Then there is the magic of compositing. Using Shake 4, the same software used in Academy Award winning movies, our compositor Melissa Cozart can do magic. Great chroma keying, 2D and 3D graphics, image stabilization, rotoscoping, wire removal and re-timing are all done in full HD resolution.

Sometimes we need to create a virtual set, model of a product, or an animated character. If we need to make the object appear real, or seem dimensional, we start by making a 3D model that has all the properties of the real thing. Then we have the flexibility of bringing it to life in a simulated world, or inserting it into footage shot for that purpose. To do all this our animator, Adam Weber, uses Lightwave. Other work he has done includes creating working manufacturing equipment from concept art allowing the demonstration of complex processes by "seeing" inside while it is in operation.
